Based on the Americano coffee I got it was was of good quality! You can always tell how good a baristas coffee is by trying a black coffee! Very smooth full bodied roast! Overall better then your chain spots. There was selection of cakes and savoury food available also. Always try supporting local businesses and 3 for the coffee it’s very competitive!

Friday night, cheese board, and a glass of wine. Great atmosphere, chilled vibes and an opportunity for good conversation. Good selection of cheese but not too complicated with biscuits, grapes, pickle but, also a great cafe for a coffee and cake during the daytime. Dog friendly too.

Had breakfast here when staying overnight in town. The "breakfast bap" was quite substantial, tasty and good value. The cafe was quiet when we arrived, around 9.30 on a Tuesday morning, but soon got busy. Service was good too. Recommended.

Growing up in Hemel, and going to many cafes over the years, Hive is possibly the most welcoming cafe in Hemel. It’s got gorgeous food with the most loveliest people working there.
